We are seeking a highly motivated, resilient, sourcing savvy Recruiter to join our HR team.  As a Recruiter, you'll be responsible for the fulfillment of day-to-day talent acquisition goals including proactively identifying, sourcing and maintaining an active pipeline of qualified professionals. This person will focus primarily on commission based sales positions, and will also be responsible for recruiting for other roles as needed.  

Responsibilities

 WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Identify sourcing needs and implement sourcing strategies to build and maintain appropriate talent pipeline of qualified candidates to fulfill existing positions and future positions as they are identified.
  • Develop talent pool through in-person and internet sourcing techniques including social networking, referrals, networking, and cold calling.
  • Represent Thompson Creek as an employment brand ambassador at school, military, and community career fairs and networking events to promote Sales team opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners to create a wide sourcing constituency and referral base.
  • Utilize recruitment marketing materials to promote openings including careers website, designated social media accounts and job postings.
  • Manage hiring manager expectations around the recruitment process and
  • Conduct phone screenings, schedule/attend in person interviews, and initiate offer letters.
  • Provide a high quality experience to candidates through effective communication, expectation setting, and follow
  • Attend relevant HR and Sales team meetings as required.
  • Effectively utilize and administer applicant tracking system to manage job openings and candidates.
  • Monitor relevant metrics to ensure that goals and benchmarks are met, re-evaluating and making adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business, HR, or related field
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a sales recruiting, military recruiting or other high volume recruiting role; any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint).
  • Prior experience with applicant tracking systems.
