    We are looking for a Fleet and Facilities Manager to join our team!  As the Fleet and Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Company’s fleet and building operations, including responding to tenant requests, oversight of repairs and maintenance of building systems, and oversight and inspection of work performed by 3rd party vendors.






    • Develop annual fleet maintenance schedule
    • Maintain records of all fleet assets and related Company property (eg. ladders, tools)
    • Conduct audits to ensure all required inspections and certifications are up to date (eg. DOT, MVA)
    • Ensure that all Fleet Help Requests are properly logged, prioritized and responded to in a timely manner and according to established standards and procedures. 
    • Ensure Fleet Help Requests are “Closed” as appropriate using IssueTrak.
    • Manage fleet-related vendors (eg. Quarles, Trimble, EZ Pass)
    • Monitor EZPass use and report violations to Safety Review Committee




    • Establish and manage preventative maintenance schedules for all building systems and equipment.
    • Conduct audits to ensure all required inspections and certifications are up to date (eg. elevator, fire protection)
    • Oversee contracts and vendors providing related services, including but not limited to security, cleaning, construction, repairs.
    • Maintain positive communication with building tenants, particularly evaluating, prioritizing, responding to and following up on their requests and problems to ensure tenant satisfaction.
    • Ensure that all Facilities Help Requests are properly logged, prioritized and responded to in a timely manner and according to established standards and procedures. 
    • Ensure Facilities Help Requests are “Closed” as appropriate using IssueTrak.
    • Oversee maintenance and repair of all building systems, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems.
    • Direct and coordinate outside contractor activity for maintenance repairs.
    • Manage the maintenance and organization of all tools, parts, and supplies inventories; initiate POs for replacement, restocking, or repair of items.
    • Oversee regular inspections of building systems, common areas and appurtenances; maintain these areas to ensure a clean, operational, orderly, and safe condition. 
    • Respond to emergency situations, such as inclement weather, power/plumbing/heating failure, vandalism, unauthorized entry, and life safety situations, provide assistance when needed, and identify recurring issues for follow-up and correction.  
    • Assume day-to-day security needs of the building and provides on call and off-hours response during evenings, weekends and holidays.




    • Initiate purchase orders (POs) for expenditures
    • Monitor expenditures against the annual Fleet and Facilities budget
    • Manage the work schedule of direct reports, including overtime and work during non-business hours.
    • Coordinate emergency response or crisis management activities in conjunction with Safety manager
    • Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors including but not limited to janitorial, pest, security, fleet support, and mechanical services.
    • Proactively recommend initiatives to increase efficiency and/or reduce cost
    • Interpret, train and consistently demonstrates adherence to Company policies and procedures.
    • Partner with Human Resources for staff selection, development, discipline, and performance management.


    • Be available 24/7 for emergency response
    • Train a qualified backup and ensure he/she is available in Manager’s absence



    • Bachelors’ degree and 5 years relevant experience; 2 years supervisory experience; any equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Valid MD, DC or VA Driver’s license.
