    We are looking for a fleet, Facilities and EHS Coordinator to join our team.  The Fleet, Facilities and EHS Coordinator works primarily at the direction of the Fleet and Facilities Manager and is responsible for day-to-day fleet and building maintenance and repair. The Fleet, Facilities and EHS Coordinator provides support to the Safety Manager for safety programs and activities for the companies.

    Responsibilities

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

     

    • Respond to Fleet and Facilities Help Requests in a timely manner and according to established standards and procedures. 
    • Close Fleet and Facilities Help Requests as appropriate using IssueTrak.
    • Assist with the operations, maintenance and repair of all building systems, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems.
    • Perform routine building inspections to ensure lighting, heating, ventilation and other systems are in good working order.
    • Assist with the maintenance and organization of all tools, parts, and supplies inventories.
    • Conduct regular inspections of building systems, common areas and appurtenances; maintains these areas to ensure a clean, operational, orderly, and safe condition. 
    • Perform minor carpentry, painting services, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
    • Respond to emergency situations, such as inclement weather, power/plumbing/heating failure, vandalism, unauthorized entry, and life safety situations, provides assistance when needed, and identifies recurring issues for follow-up and correction.   
    • Assume day-to-day security needs of the building and provides on call and off-hours response during evenings, weekends and holidays.
    • Participate in safety meetings and is a member of the Safety Review Committee.
    • Conduct accident investigations, reports findings to Safety Manager and assists with development of prevention/mitigation plans.
    • At the direction of the Safety manager, deliver safety training to assigned audiences.
    • Conduct routine safety inspections to identify potential hazards and develops corrective action
    • Assist with safety recordkeeping (accident records and OSHA logs)

    Qualifications

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

     

    • High School diploma and 3-5 years of experience in general phases of preventive maintenance and repair, as well as technical knowledge and understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system operation; any equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Valid MD, DC or VA Driver’s license required.
