We’re proud of our history, and proud to help our communities improve the comfort and conditions of their homes.  We are looking for a Team Lead - Field Marketing in Virginia Beach, VA. The Team Lead - Field Marketing is responsible for building and managing a team of Field Marketers that perform door-to-door canvassing activities as well as home show activities to generate leads for product demonstrations.



    • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to build appropriate Field Marketer talent pipeline and meet staffing goals.
    • Identify, interview and select talent, ensuring that job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
    • Actively participate in recruiting events.
    • Create and maintain schedule for Field Marketing and Home Shows.
    • Lead, motivate, and counsel a Field Marketing team to meet or exceed goals while maintaining teamwork and the highest level of customer service.
    • Assess and review the performance of individual Field Marketers using observation and tracking, an individual’s progress numbers, as well as team progress numbers. Identify deficiencies in individual’s skills and develop plans to improve capabilities through coaching, training, mentoring, and disciplinary action when necessary.
    • Calculate bonus payments for Field Marketing team in an accurate and timely manner.
    • Select appropriate neighborhoods within territory to generate quality leads in door-to-door field marketing efforts.
    • Maintain an accurate record of potential home show venues, the key players, activities completed and scheduled, notes regarding challenges, sales hints, inside stories, etc along with seasonal dates, past performance, etc.
    • Ensure that venue man-hours are always met. Plan and be versatile enough so that weather, absences and attrition are not obstacles to meeting your objectives.
    • Prospect new community homes shows to generate more business opportunities.
    • Create, prepare and provide all documents necessary to visit prospective homes in assigned territory.
    • Positively impacts the daily performance of the team through action oriented discussions that focuses on strategy, successes, competitive differentiation, and selling skills.
    • Transport team to and from scheduled territory on a daily basis.
    • Participate in face-to-face visits at homes for coaching and training in the field.
    • Assist with maintaining company issued vehicle, notifying appropriate company personnel regarding routine maintenance, service issues, accidents, thefts or any other events in order to ensure proper care of vehicle.
    • Ensure Field Marketing team has necessary supplies to fulfill job duties. Supplies include but are not limited to uniforms and marketing collateral.  
    • Model safety conscious behaviors and ensure compliance to company safety guidelines.
    • Attend all mandatory meetings




    • Education & Experience: High School Diploma and 2-3 years of previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or field marketing; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Computer Skills: Basic skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); ability to develop basic skills with SAP CRM
    • Licenses and Certifications: Must hold valid drivers’ license and must have a clean driving record.


    • This position is primarily outdoors - work is performed in varying weather and light conditions.
