    We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team!  As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering world class customer service keeping in mind the values of Thompson Creek Window Company. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for personnel and materials resources allocation congruent with forecasted service and installation requirements to achieve 100% efficiency.

    Responsibilities

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

     

    • Allocate, schedule, and confirm installation and service personnel at least 3-7 days in advance of scheduled job.
    • Maintain routing and schedules for Project Mangers up to 72 hours in advance.
    • Monitor and maintain preconstruction capacity to keep the lead time between sales and preconstruction meetings at 5 days or less.
    • Route Project Managers as efficiently as possible to keep average driving distance per stop to a minimum.
    • Maintain up to the minute scheduling.
    • Schedule emergency, back-up personnel to meet customer promises; allocate elsewhere when not needed for emergencies.
    • Notify customer and Project Coordination immediately via phone and email when a schedule change is required.
    • Immediately resolve onsite failures regarding incorrect materials with Project Coordination and the customer.  Ensure complete resolution within 7 days. 
    • Participate in weekly reviews of logistics activities with Logistics Team Lead.
    • Communicate to all customers via company-prescribed methodology.
    • Ensure promises are kept at our cost and inconvenience whenever possible, safe and practicable.
    • Ensure accuracy of logistics information in SAP.

     

     

    Qualifications

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Bachelors’ degree and at least 5 years of customer service and/or logistics experience required; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Previous experience with SAP or other similar ERP systems
